Joe Petagno has designed virtually every Motorhead Cover. According to the book 'Cult Rock Posters 1972-1982', the original design featured a skull based on a cross between a gorilla, a wolf and a dog, with boar's tusks. Lemmy then suggested adding helmet, chains and military insignia.
