1970s

The 1970’s......boom and bust, long hot summers, power cuts, strikes, bigotry and everything was brown, but there was glam, punk and disco, so it wasn’t all bad. The 1970’s also is where graphic design really took a foothold in enhancing the album beyond just the music and unsurprisingly, posters became more of a vehicle for promoting music. This section is clearly in it’s infancy (I just don’t have the money), but it will grow steadily over the coming years.
