This section is solely about the mix compilations that regularly came out following the explosion of House and Techno in the UK. It’s a bit pompous to suggest that House music came from Britain, particularly given that the roots lay in Chicago, and also the association with Ibiza in the late 80’s. However, let’s face it, the UK became the main foundation for the rise of Dance Music, and most compilations were mainly issued and compiled by UK record companies.
